  • 1 cup (250 ml) azúcar
  • 1 huevo
  • 1 cucharada mermelada de albaricoque

  • 1 cucharadita vinegar
  • 1 cup (250 ml) leche
  • Pinch sal
  • 1 cup (250 ml) cream for the sauce
  • ½ cup (125 ml) azúcar for the sauce
  • ½ cup (125 ml) agua for the sauce
  • 2 cucharada mantequilla for the sauce
  • 1 cucharadita esencia de vainilla for the sauce

Instrucciones

  • Precalentar el horno to 180°C. Grease an ovenproof baking dish.
  • In a bowl, beat the egg, sugar and apricot jam until light.
  • Melt the butter and add the vinegar and milk.
  • Sift the flour, baking powder, bicarb and salt together.
  • Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients and stir until smooth.
  • Pour the batter into the dish and bake for 30–35 minutes, or until golden and springy.
  • While it bakes, make the sauce: heat all sauce ingredients in a saucepan until the sugar dissolves and it starts to boil gently.
  • As soon as the pudding comes out of the oven, pour the hot sauce over it slowly so it soaks in.
  • Serve warm with custard, cream or ice cream.
