- 2-3 potatoes (peeled & cubed)
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 1-2 tomatoes (chopped) of 1 tin chopped tomatoes
- 2 el olie
- 1-2 tsp kerriepoeder (optional but common in SA versions)
- 1 tsp salt (adjust to taste)
- ½ tsp zwarte peper
- 1-2 kopjes water of bouillon
- 1 carrot (sliced) (optioneel)
- 1 green pepper (chopped) (optioneel)
- 1-2 teentjes knoflook (optioneel)
